About the Author

My interest in writing began with the Trixie Belden mystery books in 5th grade. By the time I made my first attempt at writing, I was a much more mature 6th grader in love with Desi Arnaz, Jr. He was in the boy band Dino, Desi, and Billy (1964-69). Be still my heart! The romance took us to Hawaii in search of what I can't remember!

At the same time, Lost in Space and Star Trek were my favorite TV shows. Little did I know that one day I would combine mystery and outer space into an adventure like no other. My dream came true with Stay Calm and Dance On.

Pigs in Peril is based on a visit by one of my six granddaughters when she was eight. With the help of Maci Welch's artistry, the story I scrapbooked is now a delightful children's book for everyone to enjoy!

I live very near the fictious town of Collinsville, Wyoming, with my husband, Paul, and lots of fairies, gnomes, and trolls. Besides reading and writing, I enjoy the great outdoors, traveling, and creating miniature villages.

They better get back, because there is still a charity fundraiser coming up. The Divas plan to burn up the stage to Tina Turner's "Proud Mary."
